if you log-in to your adraker account now their is a site there labeled adraker.com maybe this is only the site for getting credits..i just do not know..do someone else know something??

Log into your PayPal account and you should find all the info. you need on how to file a claim. But remember if Paypal can’t collect from AdRaker then there is no way to get your money back.

Ponzi (a.k.a. HYIP (High Yield Investment Protocol)) work on a similar basis as an MLM scheme. You might remember the infamous AMWAY.

Ponzi’s work like this:

Someone joins but first the person must invest say $500 dollars. This person becomes what is called a “sponsor”. The investment company they joined now tells them its time to make some money and to do so they must recruit other members to join the program. Each member who joins must also pay $500 dollars. When this member joins the program typically the “sponsor” will get %10 - %20 of there money back while %80 percent (typically) goes to the program owner. As you can see this has a serious problem when you think logically. If no one joins the program then no one gets paid. The obvious way to tell Ponzi’s from legit programs is typically they only accept E-Gold. E-gold does not allow transactions to be reversed which means once the money is sent it gone forever. Adraker accepted Paypal which is one of the reasons I invested. I knew if it was a Ponzi I would get my money back. I feel as though I got burned but at least they did refund my money so I have to give them that much.

I hope this sort of helps you understand what Ponzi’s are. Remember that HYIP’s (Ponzi’s) are illegal within the states so if you do live here be careful. There has never be a direct case of uncle Sam going after HYIP investors but then again anyone could turn out the be the “example case”.

I completely agree with you. Thats one thing that was never stated in the 2 areas of yahoo answers that I found. The “owner” was mentioned and that was it.
Can someone explain what a ponzi scheme is for me?

Not trying to come across like a punk, but if they were going to return wouldn’t the natural business minded individual e-mail all of his clients to let them know whats going on? I mean he obviously has an e-mail database which he can plug into a generic smtp server. My money is on a no show.

Just wondering who is the owner now? I know the CEO “died”?

Even if Ad Raker did come back, who’s going trust him now? Disappearing then coming back? Classic ponzi.
